"There is a relatively large open interest in the Feb20 puts; thus the MMs would like to screw this group over."

Put this thought out of your mind, it's totally untrue. First of all, the Nasdaq market makers have no relationship to the options specialist. Secondly, the options specialist hedged his bets when the sales were made, locking in his profits. He doesn't care what happens to the common.

There is options arbitraging when expiry approaches, and is what causes stocks to get 'pinned' to the strike price. But it is a completely natural thing, and is not the product of some conspiracy.
