" Is this a situation where you'd short a gap up in the morning?" It depends if they put anything out tonight or tomorrow morning. There really is no way to know until we see why what happened happened. If it gaps up on nothing, I'll short into it. If it gaps up on a fluff piece, I'll probably short less, and look to add later. If it gaps up on news that YHOO offered $30 per share in a stock swap... There were a lot of folks who bought late to sell into the gap up. This is another case of too many folks on one side of the boat, so it may not even gap up. Barb
