Whatever the cause of today's jump. it was NOT the incident you cited. US aircraft have been attacking Iraq positions for a number of weeks with no impact on oil whatsoever.

diana - I don't think this has any effect anymore on the prices. These articles don't even make the front page anymore here in Baltimore. The last shooting incident was a tiny article on the last page of the front section. No one cares anymore, at the moment, about this.
