1. I have seen this sort of stock performance after secondaries before. They've got the money so either thisis a blip or or a few months time those that bought will be out and have gotten into something that helps them make up the loss. The buyers were probably funds or other professionals and they know what they are doing over-all although individual stocks may dissapoint for time to time. Only those like us on this thread who are true amatuer believers get hurt by this kind of movement. I have seen it before in very similar circumstances and I should have learned but I don't.

2. As for announcements, whats the use in this kind of market. Any announcement would be totally wasted. No WCII should keep its powder dry.

3. I can't help but notice the similarity between what the market is doing now and what it did last August/Oct. It started as I remember it about 5/6 weeks after the end of the quarter and low and behold this mess has started 5/6 weeks after the end of the quarter. It started by having a drop that left people hoping for a recovery but not enough to encourage them to get out on the spot and then came weeks and weeks of the same on a never ending downward path. Only Mr Greenspan came along when it looked like there was going to be a mlet down and cut interest rates. But he did so it seems to me reluctantly becaus he knew it would benefit the market and he has thought the market overvalued at about 7,000. I don't suppose he would be unhappy at all if it droppped back to that elvel now and I don't think we've got much chance of another rate cut so it looks very much to me like the market has had it at least till Japan takes off again and who knows when that will be; maybe years away.

4. WCII stock price. My view was when it was still in the teens that it wouldn't do anything till Q 3 or Q4 this year and that is still my view. I dodn't know they were going to do a secondary and of course as they did I don't suppose I should be surprised tha the stock moved up before hand and fell like a stone afterwards. I think that in this market the stock price could quite easily move back to the teens but that I suppose is not the point.

The point is that this is a great company working out a great plan and they are not idiots and didn't pay way over the odds for a market like part of Australia. WCII is in Japan and will get a bunch of other good markets over the next year ( 50 or so foreign territories) and 60 or so domestic markets and Williams and Lucent and telecom is still hot and you can't get out becuase market timing is a mugs game and you nevefr know in this red hot telecom market who is going todo what next.

The best thing to do is to put it in a drawer and look at it again in October, Not that any of us could possibly do that but you get the idea.

WCII is a fantastic story and a great company and in three or more years it will be well over $100 and more.

REgards,

L

Paul,

I spoke with IR about 10 days ago and asked if they would be prereleasing orders, installs, etc.. At that time, they were not planning on a prerelease. I still expect some additional news before the cc on the 4th. Who knows, maybe even the govt will get around to announcing their contract award(s).
