Mohan-san:

I like winners. For a guy who has been on the helm of a company that is trading near the 12 month low, I am going to watch Dell closely. And as you said in your e-mail, we are not going to be complacent anymore. One thing to consider : Dell's internet sales is $ 14MM/day. I have been looking a small article that states: the figure is as elusive as the huge profit of Beardstown's (sp?) Ladies Investment Club. I will keep digging, I think it is in Forbes.

The essence: many of those internet sales are also hybrid. A guy sees the product on Dell website, then call the 800 number to place the order. Is that sale through the internet? Of course it is picky picky picky. For now I take it anyway. Compare that to ONSALE, the transaction is 100% through the website.

Although I have substantial number of shares of Dell and it is my largest holdings, I will keep the lights burning.

OT. Saw a movie last night that reminded me of all the gambling that took place in Dell this week. Rounders stars Matt Damon and Ed Norton and is about people who hustle high stakes card games as an addiction, as a living, etc.

I can't begin to tell you how closely resembled the action that occurred on the floor. Shockingly entertaining when you realize the action on any stock bet is no different.

Recently released through Blockbuster Video.

Two thumbs up

Best Regards,
