Very true, John. And all good suggestions. If only so many companies actually need that kind of storage right now - groups of companies together could use it.And also again, when video related archiving becomes prevalent on the net - storage needs will be mammoth. Many options that could...should...flesh out into realities eventually.
Jubimer is sure right about the boilerplates. One edge TVontheWeb has at the moment is that until AXC buys that majority stake, they can release news of their brisk growth without the disclaimers that the law properly requires.
In any major trend there is a relearning period too. Lets assume for a second that many of us are correct and AXC has begun a long overall up trend. Well in the multi year downslide the lesson was to sell the surges(until fear reached its max). In the uptrend the slowly learned lesson will be to buy the dips (as opposed to getting us dips to buy). At first to buy the big dips - like this one. Then if we are correct..the smaller and smaller ones. Takes time. I continue to be of the personal opinion that time is on our side here once again. And while I may be sweating bullets now and then..I think they are probably blanks.

You're right about this opportunity, john.

A few companies have gotten into the electronic distribution/off-site storage business, but it really needs broadband to take off. So AXC hasn't missed anything to date.

Off-site storage could be offered by every ISP in the country and fulfilled by AXC.

I once created a very successful company in the physical distribution/off-site storage business, so I know how compelling it is. Small business is desperate for electronic storage.

Let's hope AXC can exploit the storage utility opportunity as it comes into view.

You know, it occurs to me that *backup* is a "killer app" for broadband's "Always On" feature.
