When expectations have been drastically reduced it's hard to say whehter you've beaten them or not. Reuters will probably report they beat "reduced expectations" anyway. It's not what you did vis a vis first call or zacks, it's what you did vs the market mentality. I know that doesn't answer your question, but I'm still not sure whether they really did beat expectations in any realistic sense. Prediction: stock flat to down by .5-1.00 tomorrow.
