Bobcat....Want to buy a Paulownia tree?

Now Bobcat check this out....

I went to the GTCI web page and looked at their "Management Team".
The management EXPERIENCE of a new company is very telling of
the quality of a company IMO and management's experience IMO
is also a very good indicator of future viability

This is the link to the company GTCI's web page...NOT a really impressive site to say the least...(actually looks like a sixth grader's project)

globaltci.com

Now I read through the management team and read that one of their
directors was one Thomas Kennedy. I decided to find out more about
Tom because his resume proclaimed that he is directors of three
other public companies...

These three companies do indeed exist...HOORAY..

However, if these three companies stock's performances are any
indication of the quality of the directorship of GTCI
watch out below.

Here are the three companies as proclaimed on Kennedy's resume

1991 to Present
DIRECTOR OF THE FOLLOWING
PUBLICLY TRADED COMPANIES:

Global Tree Technologies Inc.
Rock Resources Inc.
Nu-Lite Industries Ltd.

Global Tree is listed on the ASE and currently trades for
$.08 per shr. The trading symbol is ASE: GTT
(Alberta Stock Exchange)

Rock Resources trades on [in] the cess pool of all exchanges the VSE
The current share value for (VSE:V.RKR) is $.21
(Vancouver Stock Exchange)

Nu-Lite also trades "in" the cess pool...VSE Symbol: NLE
Last Trade 3:13PM · 0.19
(Vancouver Stock Exchange)

These are the three five year charts for all three respectively in the same order as above.....Notice a pattern?

Also interesting to note that Kennedy is no longer listed as the
director of Nu-Lite, but that both Nu-lite and Global Tree are at
the same exact address.

Nu-Lite Industries Ltd. VSE Symbol: NLE
910 - 510 Burrard Street
Vancouver, BC
V6C 3A8

Global Tree Technologies Inc. (ASE:C.GTT)
#910 - 510 Burrard Street
Vancouver, BC
V6C 3A8

======
I was unable to find any more information about
"Rock Resources, Inc" so I'm not sure where it is
or what it does..
=======

Now what does Global Tree do?
And what does Nu-lite do?
Rock resources sounds by its name like its a natural resource
or mining company...doesn't it?

Well, Global Tree harvest trees. Paulownia trees to be exact.
You can find out more about this "revolutionary" company (yes, I am
being sarcastic) by visiting Global Tree's web page,
click this link (or see additional info below)...

globaltree.com

Per preliminary financials for GTT, Global Tree isn't doing
so well. After looking at the SEDAR listings, Global Tree did
some creative financing so that GTT's balances sheets weren't
even worse.

Note how on GTT's balance sheet the only negligible asset on
GTT's is its Paulownia trees that no one seems to want to buy...

Here are some key numbers...

Timber Inventory...........$800,000...Paulownia trees
Total Assets..............$1,003,252

DEFICIT, End of Period.....$4,551,250

Deduct the real value of the trees as determined by the
market and this company GTT quite literally has no
or minimal assets but has tremendous deficits for a company its size.

Here is a link to the SEDAR listings for GTT

Now Nu-Lite is another natural resource company of a different kind.
Nu-Lite mines in China it appears and doesn't apparently do this
very well per this SEC direction to notify...

sedar.com

Form 27
Securities Act
MATERIAL CHANGE REPORT
Under Section 67(1)(b) of the Act

4.&5. Summary and Full Description of Material Change

Nu-Lite Industries Ltd. (the "Company") announced that due to current market conditions, the Company has not made the required US$500,000 capital contribution to the Yangzhaiyu Gold Project (see Nu-Lite Industries news release of April 8, 1998) which was due on September 30th, 1998.

The Company is aware of the effect of the Asian monetary melt-down which has precluded raising required capital and thereafter will likely result in the Company receiving a termination notice on the project. Unless market conditions improve dramatically and quickly, it is unlikely that the Company will be able continue operation in China.

================================

Now Bobcat, what does this all mean?

Are not one's past accomplishments indicative of future successes frequently?
And conversely, one's failures indicative of future failures?

Whether or not this holds true with Kennedy, any
potential investor in GTCI really has to closely look
at the quality of the company that GTCI not only
keeps (with the likes of Veronex and WSRG) but also has to
look closely at the apparent lack of quality that GTCI
has made a Director of the company.

Such a lacking as Kennedy appears to be is NOT a good indicator
of this company's future viability.

Plus what is also interesting is the movement just like
Veronex from natural resources and mining into the
"next hot thing" be it first y2k, then an ISP.

Heck, Bobcat based on the investor savvy demonstrated by
the "investors" in GTCI, all I really need to do with GTCI
"investors" is to re-emphasize the ocean view in order to
sell my ocean front property in North Dakota....

Plus get this Bobcat...from the front porch on the west side
of the house you can see the Pacific and from the rear
patio deck on the east side you can see the Atlantic..

Interested? I'll toss in some Paulownia trees for some shade...

How can you say no?
