Andreas,

Vivus isn't smart enough to hire someone like me to help promote MUSE or the company. They would rather piss their money away on TV commercials or one paged adds in Time or Newsweek. Also, with my current ill will towards the clown we call our CEO I doubt they would be interested.

I am currently residing in South Florida(snow bird). I bet between here and the sunbelt(Arizona, New Mexico, S. California) specific MUSE marketing targeted to the retirees in this group could be a real winner for Vivus. The old people around here are like flies on road kill! They sit at home most of the day doing nothing. A little sex in their lives certainly could make things a lot more exciting. Give me $250,000.00 and put me in charge of marketing MUSE in South Florida for 3 months and I will have the total MUSE script count up over 6,000 in 2 months.

You don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out where our future product sales are going to come from. Vivus needs to target the retirees and the Viagra failures. I believe that they can afford to spend some money on targeting the over 55 group and the only way they can reasonably afford to get to the Viagra failures is by targeting the PCPs. I already mentioned in a prior post what I thought is needed to target the PCPs--ie another mailing advertising a SAFE and LOCAL alternative to Viagra.

I don't know if Vivus is actively doing anything these days for marketing but if not it is for one of the following reasons: 1)A partner is already virtually a done deal so they see no reason to spend money 2)Vivus feels it should not spend any of its precious cash on ANY marketing or 3)Vivus management is just PLAIN TOO STUPID to figure any of this out.

VLAD

PS If anyone is currently aware of any marketing currently being done by Vivus to promote MUSE please let me know.

According to the January 28th cc, "MUSE is now approved from regulatory stand point in 23 countries around the world."

This means approved but what about FULLY LAUNCHED?

To my knowledge, Astra has only launched MUSE in 5 countries. I don't know where Janssen stands in the number of countries launched thus far.
