Bill,

I agree with you on the new found competition. I too am long on YHOO, ATHM, XCIT, AOL, and NSCP. I believe this new competition will enhance the internet environment and bring in more NEW NET USERS to this type of interactive media.

That is what many analysts fail to realize. Competition in the sector only makes the companies better and more user focused (friendly). In the end, their efforts will increase the WEB POPULATION at larger increments than previously stated.

That said, competition becomes almost a non-issue among sector leaders with the added growth of NEW EYEBALLS. The NET is still in its larva stage. However, the companies who help develop this media into mainstream will reap rewards that are currently heavily discounted.

Hector

BCST and RNWK could be the foundation of new portals or add significant capabilities to the likes of someone like AOL.

Good thoughts. If YHOO (or AMZN) were to gather in BCST, some eyebrows would be raised. Both RNWK and BCST must be sought after technology right about now.

The future will certainly be interesting, both for the web-lover and for the Internet/technology stock investor.
