Zeeko, I don't have the price figures for the K-6. But, I understand that AMD had been pricing below Intel. However, a few weeks ago, Intel dropped the prices on the Celeron processors. At this time, Intel and AMD may be neck to neck when it comes to pricing.

However, Dell, in order to keep costs down, may have to bid Intel and AMD against each other. Of course, this might created friction between Dell and Intel. However, Dell is now big enough to throw their weight around, so Intel may have to sit up and listen to Dell...that is, under bid AMD. JMO
