APLX [Applix] makes the only Office Suite you can buy for LINUX.
CNBC showed Applixware for LINUX in their piece on the LINUS / IBM
agreement today. . .will probably be shown more tonight. Each time
LINUX story came on, APLX got a spike.

APLX also makes front office software for UNIX. They sell LINUX
versions for Power PC and for Compaq Alpha. All other currently
available office applications for LINUX are freeware.

With IBM, Hewlett-Packard and Oracle pledging to move heavily into
LINUX format, APLX becomes a takeover target as these big companies
look for a short-cut to LINUX software releases.
