(S) NMGC - Quarterly earnings per share .37 undiluted. Yearly result $1.19. Last price 14.25, so price earnings of around 12 (if I have my math right). Market was expecting 39 cents for the quarter here. Higher tax bill and more R&D investment are the reasons for undershoot, we hear. Also - two acquisitions in the DVD and digital camera space. NMGC makes fast multimedia (graphics) chips with onboard DRAM - low energy consumption. They have been a force in laptops, and are expanding into these two new markets with these acquisitions.

A summary:
news.com

The company remains cheap in terms of earnings. If these partnerships are deemed credible by the market, then we have some good potential for some upside here. I would be curious to know if anyone else hase views on the DVD and digital camera markets - seems a natural extension of the existing NMGC technology.

I still own some at 13.5. Watch this opening tomorrow! Might at least come into play.

Hope that this helps - I am still learning!

TJ,NAVR......Hasn't there been a lot of insider selling on this stock lately? I think I would be afraid of it at this point.
