I guess you missed the point so I will try again. Intel is shipping a PIII product today. That product yields at 500Mhz today. It is clear that without logic changes it will provide manufacturable yields at 550Mhz+ tomorrow (figuratively speaking). I do not believe the Stealth K7 that was seen last year will yield ANY revenue material at ANY speed. A new stepping with logic fixes will certainly be necessary for production. When that might be is anybody's guess. When a product is scheduled for release months out you can be sure that it means it doesn't work properly now and they hope it will by the scheduled release date.
