Mike:

I don't know enough about the subject to judge it. Post away! I will say that I am fascinated by agents that can cause demyelination. We (John Fleming et al.) once made some antibodies against a mouse hepatitis virus (JHM) that causes a MS-like encephalitic disease in SJL mice. We isolated an anti-E2 MAb that, when virus isolates were propagated in its presence, selected variants with reduced neurovirulence. Nonetheless, there was still pronounced demyelination. Interesting stuff, but.... I'm off-topic.

Go!
