Hello Bill. First of all: It's not just Frank's Dell. gg. I have some too but not as much as Frank.

Before I go on with the rest of the post, I have a question. I have a problem with my hard drives. My BIOS does not recognize my drives D through G. It only recognizes the C drive which came with the orig. cpt. I had a Western Digital hard drive installed since then. The problem happened when rebooting. It had said on the screen that the prev. Windows 95 did not load completely and only allowed me to go into Safe Mode. I finally got in through My Cpt. but now I have only the C drive. Any ideas on how my cpt can be set so it will recognize the other drives?

Now to the market again. I heard the same 2 guys you did. It's interesting that we had 2 bears on CNBC today, even though Mr. Shobin only calls for 10% more downside compared to the 20% by Mr. Murphy of MER. If you really want to know my opinion, I don't think any of those guys know any more than we do. It's just that they are being heard and we are not. Sure, those so called Guru's can move the markets.

One of the guys on the floor today said that he thought the market was just about done with the correction. He used the slowness for his reasoning, whereas others think the slowness does not bode well. He said everybody was kind of sitting around wondering what will be next. Everybody agrees that the economy is doing alright right now and that the FED will probably NOT raise rates. Some say the FED may raise the rates down the road and others say that they may ease down the road. A rate hike would not sit well with the rest of the world.
There is talk that Europe may ease rates for fear that the economy is slowing or is already slowing.

One money manager, Mr. Manley? sold 5% of his bond holdings today. I wonder why. Probably to have cash available to go into stocks.

Yes, I believe that most of those bears are shaking the tree for cheaper stocks. It's just a little game to get commissions and better returns. Buy stocks cheap, ride them up, call for a down turn and the cycle starts all over again. Like Frank says: If it is a good stock why not just hold on to it even if it stalls for a while. Unless you need the money all you do is pay the tax man when you buy and sell all the time. But I know it's hard to just sit with all your stocks when you know what those guys are doing. Dell is a pretty good example. Dell came in about 300 million short on revenues but hit their numbers, as forecasted last Friday by 2 analysts and the stock was down as much as 25%. Again, M. Dell said they could have worked more on their revenues but they worked on their margins. Growing at 3 1/2 times the rate of the cpt. industry is nothing to sneeze at. Some thought the same thing and bought some Dell today.

Anyhow, I am hanging in there. I am not quite sure whatever happened to that 10,000 by April. Now I hear it more and more by end of this year. I guess time will tell. I don't see any reason for the good techs to take this beating and you are right: There is plenty of money on the sidelines.

There is talk that the NAZ 100 will be trading as an Index some time next month, just like they are doing now with the Mutual Funds. That should be fun!!! And we think that volatility is here now.

Let's hope that the double witches on Friday will be good to us. Would be nice to see the Nasdaq go higher again.

Sonny
