Great points being made here.

I don't mind hearing the human interest pap about the 'Whiz Kid.' But it really gripes me that they give us a "public service warning" against someone like this kid, when in fact the warnings need to be publicized against some of the big guys. Like Tom Kurlak, formerly of Merrill. That's a guy who cost me tons of money by making calls contrary to runs I was riding. Or the MM FORE, whose manipulations and delayed order processing has cost traders many thousands of lost dollars. (Just read some of the broker threads right after a hectic trading day.) No, I don't need to be warned about 'The Kid,' but I'd sure like some fair warning about some of the scurvy crew that's out there to take my money in a less than honest way.

Me too, john; I feel lots better! :-)

That would be Merrill Lynch vice chairman, J. Steffens, John.

Motley Fool did a number on him. Priceless.
