I haven't spoken up before - been lurking from Toronto and am very impressed.

Some words of wisdom. I too used to trade heavily when I was around 16 or 17 and did extremely well. I too had a following but not near as much as you. It's amazing what the internet has done !

My communications were mainly people at school, their parents and message boards similar to this on a couple of local BBS's. My reputation grew quickly and was noticed by the owner of small brokerage firm. I was hired right out of high school, skipping college with dreams of the big bucks.

A year later, came the crash of 1987. Myself and all of my followers were heavily invested in the small caps and lost fortunes ! I lost friends, pissed off family members and as trading volumes dwindled at my firm, I was laid off from my trading position.

I have been shell shocked and am still wandering aimlessly from job to job, trying to find myself. I went back to college for a couple of years taking some business and computer courses but never finished anything.

It's been over 10 years and its only now I'm getting my feet wet again in the market. I still need a career and have my eyes on daytrading full time, but it's still a dream until I can get enough capital together.

BE carefull Dan, stay focused on your long term goals and STAY IN SCHOOL !

I'll continue to watch your threads and press with interest. Your broadcast interview sounded pretty good, but I think you should prepare yourself a little more next time. You seemed to stumble a little.

Good work and Good luck.
