KMAC, Congrats! May be the most moronic post ever on SI. I'm gonna submit it to the moron posts board.
Trust me pal, you have no concept. Those with so little knowledge should sit quietly, and read others' posts.
Increases in shares outstanding do NOTHING to increase revenues or profits. They simply decrease eps in direct proportion to the number of sgares out.
Companies have almost no need to increase shares outstanding as they grow- look at Berkshire Hathaway if you still don't get this point.
The reason the number of shares outstanding is highly relevant to GGNC, is that BB companies commonly play this game. Hugely increase the amount of stock outstanding, divert it to insiders, and then sell like crazy into any up move. The last 5 years have seen this type of play repeated over and over again. And its usually comapnaies like GGNC that pump and dump. Tons of fluffy PRs, sudden up action in the stock, then sudden unexplained drops in price.
My opinion.

At what point do you stop issuing shares?

I t would seem that you would need to have a earnings report that would back up the added shares as well as added income, I see month to month bets place rise, what will faLL to the bottom line?
The net gaming is a high margin low overhead business, we know that, and yes my figures I showed on the 5 m vs 25 m shares was with no added income, my point is if shares out exceed the income flow you get no real return for the added shares. That is why I am waving the flag here and other boards, we need to see some results on what is out
before before another 25 mil is issued. As a investor and owning the shares I have I do not want them diluted without seeing real income, not just bets, and since 15 mil have been added I think that is a reasonable request of the company not to issue more until the income catches up. My point in posting is just that.
I am long on the stock, we should not have to wait years for a 10.00
price, it can be done in 1 year if the company is handled right, others that are a lot smalller are doing it now. All are looking for the company to make money each quarter, that is what will drive the stock, the .com hype is over. It is now get down to business and run and grow a company at a profit.
