It says LINUX DELUXE OS 5.2, price C$49.99. Wondering who pockets the money ...

RedHat pockets the money. Linux is free if you download it or borrow a CD from a library, but if you buy the RedHat package you get 3 CDs, a well-done manual, and a very impressive setup program. Is it worth it? I thought so when I bought it, especially considering that it's less than the "cost-of-goods" price on NT plus the Option Pack in the Microsoft company store.
