The Emerging Company Report TV Program, Weekend of 2/19

Hollywood, CA-Emerging Company Report, the nationally syndicated
television program which profiles emerging-growth companies
(http://www.emergingcompany.com), features interviews this week with
Global Telephone Communication, Inc. (OTC-BB: GTCI) and Phon-Net
Corporation (OTC-BB: PNET).

Global Telephone Communication, Inc. President Terry Wong described his
company's positioning to become a dominant player in the Internet
business in China. Through their wholly-owned subsidiary, GTCI has
entered into a joint-venture with China Telecom's Shenzen Newsnet. China

Telecom is the largest telecommunications company in China. The
Internet is growing incredibly fast and the Chinese market is considered to be virtually untapped , said Wong. Along with our strategic acquisitions and joint-ventures, we are also marketing a Y2K solution for computers in China called Global Fix 2000. Some industry analysts have forecast telephone usage in China to grow between 7% to 30% by next year.

Phon-Net Corporation CEO Brian Collins announced a $50 million contract
with Adatom, Inc. for national distribution of the Phon-Net Direct
Connection Network. What we have done , explained Collins, is to
create a marriage between the Internet and consumer's telephones. A
person surfing the Internet, who happens upon our Phon-Net icon on a
company's web page, is able, with a simple mouse click, to be speaking
directly with that company, without needing an additional phone line. It is very easy to use and will allow a total interactivity between the
company or business and its customers.
