Priceline.com stinks!

I've tried a couple of times and each time denied. To boot, I had to "bid" my fare AND then leave my cc #. If priceline found my fare I was comitted to buy. (They already had my cc#)

IMO, people will discover that this company is a shame and cannot ever do what is required of a real company, and that is to have positive earnings. Priceline even announced earlier that they know they will be selling tix at loss, but they have hopes of getting life long customers. What a joke! Customers that are life long to anyone are so because they get the best value, period.

Sure it'll get the anticipated pop upon ipo, but its business model is doomed, just like Preview Travel.

I found a little company that ipo'd last year and is currently @ $5. It's called 800 Travel Systems, and they have just put out their version of the latest and greatest. They have a IRIS site (Internet Reservation Interactive System ;-), in which their agents chat and get you the best discounted price. They search for the lowest fare with your flexibility during chat. I am sure that anyone who tries IFLY will like them.

Do your own dd, but do check out lowairfare.com
