These Are The Times That Try Men's Souls. I agree that this is no time to flood the NAVR board with filler chit-chat. Unfortunately it is a time for commiseration, nervousness and yes, even introspective doubt for the longs. Out wife is in the delivery room, we're in the waiting room pacing and smoking and we're just waiting for Dr. Paulson to come in and say, "You have a healthy, baby IPO." Even if this puppy goes to 35, I'm still pissed at NAVR's poor execution. File the damn S-1! You know they're behind schedule when people start reading Salvation into B.S. fluffy Press Releases and wondering if NetRadio is going to be bought out by CMGI. A WILD DIGRESSION: Now that I think about it, this kind of behavior makes me really question organized religion. Here we have nothing more than 1 stock and we pour over its 10-Q's and 144s and press releases like messages from heaven, trying to read our own salvation in numbers and Paulson-Babble. Can you imagine what human nature will read into things when the very existence and salvation of mankind is the subject and not some 3rd tier stock? I have found that the desire to which you want something to happen is inversely proportional to the likelihood that it will actually happen. In other words, the very fact that we so desperately want something to happen proves that it won't. This is why I hate NAVR management -- I'm thinking about this nonesense at this time of night when I should be celebrating the NAVR IPO by lighting Cuban cigars with $100 bills.
