This is the most amazing phenomena I have ever witnessed. It goes beyond loyalty. Nixon was surrounded by very loyal people; but when he was exposed, he had to stand up and face the music on his own merits. Clintonites will defend and justify away their support for the indefensible no matter what. The justification that it is a reaction to right wing extremism is jargon that doesn't wash when put to a test of logic. My observation is that most wouldn't put up with the things he does from anybody else. My worry is that my children wont have a choice. The elite, and powerful corrupt will become in this country what they are in most of the rest of the world.
