Have you noticed ompt or ptel? Cell phone svc providers that will lose $12/share this year if all goes well.

Ptel's annual interest payments on its debt are equal to 50% of its annual revenues. (read that last sentence again, and then tell me not to short this puppy!).

The cell phones cost $150 to $200 wholesale, and they (ompt and ptel) give them away to snag new customers who pay $27/month. And all the new customers are the cheapos, like my wife, who never use the damn thing, except for "safety" reasons.

The ceo of ptel recently stated that there are simply too many cell phone companies in the Southeast going after the same low-end customers. Hmmm. Then again, ompt is less financially secure than ptel. <g>

I am going horse over here on these obvious shorts. Don't miss out, all you short-side geniuses!! This is my 2nd time around w/ptel.
