Bdog, the clarification I was looking for has to do with daily as opposed to intra-day trading, and the time interval for the intra-day charts where the signal is derived from.

MACD signals are hugely different depending on the time interval used.

Using a zero-cross on the intra-day may in fact be suicide. And I was just asking for a clarification. As Richard indirectly pointed out, trading on intra-day signals can be dangerous.
