TRVL******* first analyst to comment .....Keeping as STRONG BUY

ING Barings analyst Barry Rothberg said he was shrugging off the revenue worries and was maintaining a strong buy rating on
Travel Services while trimming his 1999 share-earnings forecast for the company by $0.15 to $1.25.

''These disappointments don't go down well these days,'' Rothberg said. ''The long term fundamentals are still in place and this
is just a timing glitch.''

Vittoria said he was comfortable with analysts forecasts that Delray Beach, Fla.-based Travel Services would earn at least
$1.20 in 1999, up from $0.99 a fully diluted share reported for 1998.
