Dr. Risk,

I accept your response in the good nature in which I am sure it is intended. And, to a degree, I agree with you that my problem is different from Sir Francis' problem. As I stated, it was with great regret that I bothered to post it at all.

My problem is a customer service type issue, more about how my account is apparently being handled in the backoffice which, while somewhat difficult, awkward, and unpleasant to discuss in this forum, it is not unusual in other forums such as those for Datek and various other brokers (problems are problems, and broker problems are of interest to many people). However, although it may not have been completely obvious to you, the primary purpose of my post was to remark about how I was not getting any response to several issues over an extended period of time, how my email messages were apparently being ignored. It seemed the only way I could get the attention of Philip Berber or anyone else at CyBerCorp.

Philip could respond to my post and could offer any form of excuse or comments, and he could contradict statements I made if he believes them to be untrue. I truly did not want to initiate or participate in any online battle about the situation. I just wanted to be taken care of in the manner any other client would. I don't think that is asking too much. And, as you will notice, I admitted some of my facts may be incorrect, although I do not feel they are. But, in the interest of fairness, I left open that possibility.

Dr. Risk, you and I are both big CyBer fans and we most people know it. I continue to be and have brought in new clients regularly. But, just as elsewhere on these threads, I believe that other members want and need to know when brokers who proclaim to be great appear to drop the ball regarding customer service, have apparent accounting problems, and fail to respond to a client's pleas for help. It is unfortunate, I agree. But my current problems with CyBerBroker are just as real and important to me as other problems are to Sir Francis Drake and any others who post here. Would it be right for me to only come on the thread and promote CyBer, say only good things, never mention problems? I don't believe that would be objective or fair to the members who come here for information.

I am not condemning CyBer or Philip Berber. I am trying to resolve an issue and I am hopeful that a quick resolution can be had. I was unsuccessful trying to resolve this any other way. I regret my post seemed inappropriate to you, but I feel sure you will now understand my position and will acknowledge my right to post it. I do respect you and thank you for your opinion.

Good trading to you!

Bill
