Recap, Recap: This is a SEC reporting, profitable company with low debt and extensive assets that are conservatively valued at $.50 a share book value. The majority of the assets is 708,000 acres of LAND in brazil that has been conservatively carried on the books as $40 an acre. This is a land area larger than Rhode Island. If it was a square, it would be 33 miles on a side. Recently they have put up 3/4 of this land for sale at $180 an acre. They have also started to open a web site that will sell Amazonian Herbs, remedies, and food supplements, and native arts and crafts. The share price has doubled to tripled in the last seven weeks, and has peaked at six to eight times the original price with volumes that exceeded 20 million shares. Many thought it was the web site, I think it was the Land deal. I'll bet that anybody that has jumped in and out of this stock as a day trader, still has it in his sights. There will be three opportunities for them to make quick money. One of them is the best opp for long term big money that I've seen in a long time. 1.) When earnings come out. The comparison quarter is 1/10 of a cent last year. Even if they make NOTHING, the PE of this stock using the last four quarters will be ~10. Anything they DO report as earnings will add greatly to the fundamentals!! 2.) Web site completion. There are people that will herald this short waited event, ( we only heard about it eight weeks ago). I, personally am not gung-ho on this, but I've been wrong before. It WILL add to the bottom line, but in my opinion, not as much as #3. ( I will make purchases) 3.) The sale of their unused land in an awesome event! They have hired a reputable US firm to do the sale. Anyone CAN check this out. If they get just 80% of their asking price, pay the realator and taxes, they will have ~ $.75 a share cash. The land and capital property that they still have will still be worth $.50 a share. $1.25 in proven assets!! When they sell the first chunk of land, this stock is going to soar. Short and long term. They have very well established plans on what they will do with part of the money to expand their core business and profits which seem to be in place just like dominoes waiting for the sale. How long will it be? I wood say, conservatively, months, but is that so long of a wait? Until any of this happens there will be bashing as each new individual or group tries to get the lowest price for the huge jump that is to come. This is why the share price has been tailing down. That and the idea that if the company doesn't hold the investor's hand every day, that all of a sudden these plans have changed. I think that it could even happen in weeks, John Hardee has good insight on this stock and he seems excited. GOOD LUCK, buy low and sell high, don't fire till you see the whites of their eyes, It will return, Seize the (oops, sorry Carpe). Dave
