Well, NBTY is rapidly expanding with their "Vitamin World" store model. They are opening an obscene amount of new stores this year. . . but these are tiny stores placed in high-traffic areas. . .smaller than GNC or other vitamin stores. . . In my opinion, they have more going for them than the majority of e-commerce companies, like Egghead, Books-a-million, National Record Mart, etc. . .because NBTY is a manufacturer AND a wholesale distributor AND a successful retailer and soon will be a larger e-commerce retailer.
