You jumped in before I could, also to say to Karma not to be too hard on yourself. We all react and start to opine before thinking the thought through at times.

One bit of interest: I am most definitely a woman, yet when a lover introduced me to Quake (he holds marathon sessions with friends all networked in a room), I had to tear myself away! I found it amazingly addictive. Then again, I have more male friends than female friends. Maybe this says something?

Certain archetypes reside within the collective consciousness of humanity, including the notion of what a "man" is and what "women" are. I think gayness offends heterosexual men's sense of these rather amorphous, yet powerful archetypes. Sexuality is a very primal element of our humanity, and there is a preconscious sense of what is "right" as it pertains to sexual modalities which are conducive to the survival of our species.

This is a very deep topic, and I think we see the dance of ancient, limbically(?) based archetypes when we discuss them.

To the thread: Please click on the URL and read the article, an excerpt from today's Wall Street Journal, about Juanita Broaddrick, who was raped by Bill Clinton when he was Attorney General in Arkansas.
