That was my take too. If there was a real short position and "the boys" wanted to cover, that's what it would look like. A well timed news item would act like a hot bullet up a monkey's wazoo.

Either the number of shares in the "real float" went up by a factor of 8, or somebody is screwing with this stock big time.
