Joe,
You cann't use Ekati as your bench mark, four open pits.........
Better talk to Munk of Barrick alot of his mines which make money dont have $2000 ORE.
If you are trying to say every mine in Canada or the world cost a half billion to put into production then there are a heck of alot of mines that shouldn't exist. If you are trying to say every mine needs $2000 ore then there are lots of small mines operating at a profit that shouldn't exist either.
Sorry Joe those numbers just wont fly. Big mines cost big bucks but smaller mines can also operate at a profit. Give me 50 million and two hundred dollar rock which comes to surface and $400 rock which comes to surface and is 12 feet wide dips at 15 degree and I'll hire the team to mine it at a profit.
Sorry your numbers just dont fly.
