Tony, If AMD can't keep up with a company they just can't match in overall execution, then that's the way it is in a free enterprise place and that's just too bad. AMD has been executing at a considerably faster pace than Intel. They have narrowed the clock speed gap quite remarkably during the last 12 months. They introduced SIMD extensions much sooner than Intel. What they lack is the marketing muscle Intel has. Intel has been able to manipulate the pricing to cause AMD maximum pain. Scumbria
