L3: **OT** I can not tell you how many times my intraday technicals have given me sell short signals only to be unable to fill the order because the price falls through my limit before it fills. I just got to move a little sooner...<g>

Of course, on real "lucky" days I can depend on E*Trade to miss the fill on the plunge, I cancel the limit order, I can't get a confirmation either way, the stock after hitting a nice profit to the short side then reverses and heads up into a rally and I get filled on the rally. Of course, E*Trade policy is to not let you know until the next day that you are in the hole...<g>

And then you call the trading desk after one hour of busy signals and then one hour of being on hold and reach a teenage substitute that says you punched the wrong buttons on your phone, I look look at the LED readout on the phone and tell them they are full of...well you know...E*Trash....what a joke!

Best trades I every made with E*Trade were with Fidelity shorting EGRP...<g>

LG

Lee,

I use the TICK for intraday decisions and I for the moment I dont see a huge selloff, and there is a slight hint of further upside, but but very slight.

Lee,from your post,
20 contracts traded 16 seconds after my order bt mine was not in that group. Shot to 8 3/4 and was told I didn't get the fill. Ahhh the difference between trading paper and real green!! Amazing how the fills are harder when your right too!

I also get very frustrated with this ,,My order is in,, the price as reported with T&S says I should be filled and,,,well you know the rest of the story.

What broker do you use ? Do you have any remedy for this ?

Regards
HG
