Ericy struggles into the world of cellular CDMA. Anyone know why Ericy took years longer to get voice over cellular CDMA than Qualcomm although Ericy say they invented it? I heard Qualcomm has had cdma2000 and HDR rolling for a while. They are now near commercial. Ericy, despite huge resources and having spent years of effort and with huge effort are struggling to get a couple of demonstration models working. This must be a worry to "the leading provider in the new telecoms world, with communications solutions that combine telecom and datacom technologies with freedom of mobility for the user. With more than 100,000 employees in 140 countries..." Such a big company and they claim to have had a lead over Qualcomm, inventing CDMA back in the 1890s. How come Ericy claimed through the 1990s that CDMA wouldn't work? This is schizophrenic! Episodic delusions, hallucinations and madness. They simultaneously say Qualcomm is stopping the whole wireless industry, but Ericy does not need any Qualcomm technology, but Qualcomm should not charge them so much for licences which they don't need anyway and Ericy invented the stuff and it can't work and is late to market...
