Well I'm far from an expert but I would say you can't trade them but you should be able to exercise them. If you want to go short your best bet IMO is to sell naked CALL options, BUT you MUST know what you are doing. This is even more dangerous than shorting IMO. When you sell a CALL naked if the option expires worthless or is halted who cares.
