William,

I only follow amzn closely, so I can't speak of any other. This rally today should not be a source of comfort. Maybe an opportunity to unload, but I don't think it will last. Why would I write such contrarian non-sense ?

1- as others pointed out, it is the 4th rally since the big drop. Each one lasted one or two days, and was followed by further drop. Could this be different ? sure, but the trend is down.

2- all the buying today is small lots. These people don't hold. They hope to flip higher. The large holders are selling to them and they will be stuck. The only upward hope is Q1 results.

3- today's rally is associated with strong NASDAQ. so were the previous 2. Without funds buying the stock to keep, this effect fizzles, too.

4- the supply of i-nuts is increasing. How much crazy money is there to spread around anyway ?

Sincerely,
-Sarmad
