Ouch Dell is down, I should have waited for my (last) 50 shares buy. I now have a bet with my friend: I can abstain from buying ANYTHING in my margin account for six months to win the bet.
Buying and selling options in my IRA (non margin) doesnt lose the bet.
I wonder if I'll make it.
My only temptation would be that Alta Vista IPO, if it comes within six months.

And I'm beginning to see that selling options is much more sure than buying them. Have to think about this.

keep things in proper perspective...don't overdue or exceed your capacity should the end come....

Good advice. I'm going to be conservative. I won't sell any puts without a 100% cash reserve in case I get assigned. I'll wait for a dip again and see if I can back into a few shares. Thanks. :-)
