Richard,

I never thought, as I also pondered those words 30 years ago, that I would be investing now 30 years later, as such an environment as they prophesied appears viable. Back then you knew it was Big Brother but the system had so many holes in it you felt secure you could always slip through if you had to. Not so anymore.
And now you've got me searching through the closet for another equally ancient and much more obscure album, Quicksilver Messenger Service.

The song...."Silver and Gold"

Regards,

Roebear

The lunatic is in the hall
The lunatics are in my hall
The paper holds their folded faces to the floor
And every day the paper boy brings more

And if the dam breaks open many years too soon
And if there is no room upon the hill
And if your head explodes with dark forbodings too
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

"Oh what a terrible web we weave, when at first we attempt to deceive". Unknown

In this case,

"Oh what a terrible web THEY weave, when a first THEY attempt to deceive".

A very touching post and long lost memories of the Moody Blues. I may , and probably will, go shopping for some CD's to-morrow. Yesterday still lives in the heart.
