Kash,

It's get another great opportunity for our friends at AMD to fumble.

AMD has been doing a phenomenal job bringing product to market. I'm baffled every time I read a remark like that.

The bloated expectations of the SI audience are odd- to say the least.

<I have also noticed that most of the PIII reports are less than stellar for the chip.>

Considering that the CPU isn't "officially" out in the marketplace yet, I'm not terribly concerned over the initial Pentium III reports. I'll wait for the reports from Anand and Tom before I make comments.

<If K-3's are truly available in volume at 400-450Mhz speeds at much less than half price, you have to question the sanity of the folks who will buy it.>

Things sure are quiet over in AMD-land, no? Maybe they're preparing for a grandoise introduction of the K6-3 next week. But considering that AMD pulled out of their third investor's meeting lately, many people are assuming the worst for AMD.

<It's get another great opportunity for our friends at AMD to fumble.>

You kind of remind me of the days when I followed the Washington Redskins.
