Raymond I just looked in on my way out of the house for the evening (16 Anniversary). I talked to my broker buddy yesterday he tells me the workover rig on cannacarabe is 90% complete, also says should have results in 2-3 weeks. I can't confirm this other than he is right about 80% of the time.

Regards
DJC

P.S. You used my name in the first line, Im impressed!

FLOORLESS=BOTTOMLESS=CLUELESS=CASHLESS, you are starting to think, that is very dangerous for an HEC loyalist! the Islero w/c was hyped to be a shot at the supposed 7 billion bbls of oil
on HEC's part of the 10 billion bbl Emerald Mt structure, still possible but quite unlikely after the over 20mm$ dry hole, sorry fellows but oil shows don't count as you have them in almost every well in Colombia, HEC still has some great prospects including a redrill of their Emerald Mt prospect but it is going to have to be with a Major's $$ ie Demenex,Texaco etc and that means giving up 50% and operatorship --just imho

Ray I have a feeling that there were important tax considerations involved.
Maybe Hec knew RGC's intention would have been to sell some or all of the shs. in the open market. They may have been short shs and thus would be closing the short positions.
In the long wrong the shs HEC bought back will seem cheap imo.
