The MicroNet Premier DLT(TM) autoloaders are seven-tape, random access autoloaders that combine advanced linear recording technology, an accurate tape guide system and a unique compact design. Each unit features a seven-cartridge elevator mechanism that can archive up to 280GB (Model DLT4000) or 490GB (Model DLT7000) of data. The MicroNet Premier DLT autoloaders are suitable for all network environments including small offices, remote locations, LANs and workgroups. A high-bandwidth network, such as MicroNet's FibreFlex network, allows you to attach the MicroNet Premier DLT autoloader directly to the network for increased performance. These products are also ideal when used as standalone devices for all high-capacity archiving applications. The MicroNet Premier DLT autoloaders have sustained data transfer rates up to 600MB/min (2:1 compression rate) and are available with single-ended or differential Fast/Wide SCSI interfaces. The seven removable cartridges can be randomly or sequentially accessed. Backwards compatible with existing DLT cartridges, the autoloaders can archive up to 36GB of data per hour. Available now, the 280GB MicroNet Premier DLT autoloader carries a suggested retail price (SRP) starting at $8,155 while the 490GB version starts at $12,925. The Macintosh version ships with Retrospect(R) Network Backup Kit and the PC version ships with Seagate Backup Exec(TM).
