Anyone follow EPAY (recent IPO) it seemed to have come to market without the usual run-up insanity. This company actually has a earnings, no long term debt, ROE of 45%. Here's a brief profile from Yahoo:

Bottomline Technologies is a provider of software used to make and manage corporate payments. The Company's products
and services enable organizations to transition from the traditional paper check process to electronic payments and to facilitate
electronic commerce. For the six months ended 12/31/98, revenues rose 34% to $18.1 million. Net income applicable to
Common totalled $1.5 million, up from $574 thousand. Results reflect growing market acceptance of PayBase32.

In and out of short position flat. The trigger didn't get hit until 3:25 or so, it was really to late to be into this. Credit to the guys at Yamner for good fills so I didn't have any pain. I will now adopt an official rule banning "trigger" trades after 3:15 on Friday. Too much potential for short covering. At least I had the brains to get out and not be left holding. Having said that, Monday will probably be a tanker.
