WRONG says the investors-Look out Jubak you better hold on to your'ding-dong'.

Paul:
Thanks for that article interesting but no cigar for Jubak.

Take a look at his own poll results thus far, interesting,eh?
moneycentral.msn.com

Then he says.....

'...Sales measured by the number of computers sold -- not in dollars -- grew by just 8% over the previous quarter. That's well below the 22% growth recorded by the PC industry as a whole. Most of the industry's unit growth took place at the sub-$1,000 end of the market, where Dell simply has declined to compete. Most analysts assume that the company will have to enter this segment and Dell left Wall Street with the impression that it would spell out the details of comprehensive plans to do so when it talks to analysts again in April...'

What he conveniently fails to mention here is that DELL's numbers are
real shipments from Factory To Customer where as the the other guys'
numbers represent (at least majority of it) Factory To Channel- BIG DIFFERENCE...SO if I were Juback I'll hold on to my ding-dong instead of making wild ass assertions under the pretext of biz-rag journalism.<g>

Jubak's Journal
Ding dong Dell, is this a warning bell?
My Ass(et).

PS:and another thing...if anybody has been following the Channel guys
many of them didn't any good either, look at their numbers.

On the basis of Jubak's calls on LSI, one could safely conclude that Jubak is a sub-grade moron. He was a raving LSI bull at 34 in the summer of '97. He continued to pound the table on LSI all the way down to 12, when he jumped ship, saying he could no longer recommend it. Naturally, LSI went straight up from that point on. Today LSI is at 27 with a bright future ahead. So I look at Jubak as a possible dweeb contrary indicator.
