K. I took a look at GIFI, and while there is a lot to like with this stock...no debt, priced near book, what looks like pretty good earnings (rare for this sector) let me play the devils advocate and pose a few negatives.

1) Fairly recent IPO (2/97-$8 post-split), so we have no idea what this stock would be worth pre-bubble.

2) At this low price, no insider buying.

3) The dollar value of projects available in the market is significantly below last year's levels and the Company's backlog is being similarly eroded. Competition for available projects has become more intense and future margins will likely be diminished. Nov/98 10-Q
