I don't see the Dem's as the party of women and the minorities. I see it as the party that looks out for the interests of the people that labor for all the profits that are pocketed by the rich from the labor. Without government safeguards in place to protect the labor force against the abuse of purely Capitalistic interests that view people not as human beings, but as a commodity for generating wealth to be separated from them and put in the pockets of those that own the capital; the middle class wouldn't exist and the lower class would be large and impoverished like a 3rd world country. Working conditions would be hellish. Limbaugh representing conservatives called for the end of OSHA; that's like calling for the end of speed limits and street signs. Protecting things like OSHA is why I vote Dem.
