Well, I'm certainly more confident about AMD's ability to produce the K6-III, now that Gateway has given the seal of approval.

Doubtful Gateway will use any K6-2s at all: "Gateway expects to begin shipping PCs powered by AMD microprocessors as early as the second quarter 1999."

Well, I guess Gateway didn't need any results from their mini Japan marketing test to decide to start using AMD.
