Good points -- but the threat is there to equities -- it is called a flat out global recession-depression and it is headed to a town near you the way things are going -- Japan stinks like a rotting animal and there are enough people wetting themselves over the consequences to withstand the slings and arrows of more conservative critics when they say -- open up the flood gates and give it all you've got -- that, I believe, is inflationary. And I think the interests of the world economy are about to do an about face on gold -- from keeping gold down to bumping it up. As Richard points out, silver is also ready to rumble, and platinum isn't doing bad either -- time to move up, I think.
