t2k, stay focused...

on that April time frame. I equate this period in MSFT's trading behavior with the fans reaction to the Denver Broncos after they lost their second game in a row this year to the Miami Dolphins. All of a sudden, people were questioning the team and their ability to win the big one after blowing their unbeaten season.

In hindsight, however, it was the best thing that happened to them in the end (other than the Vikings losing!!!!). It refreshed the team and the players, and refocused them on what it takes to win the Super Bowl. That is how I look at this period with respect to MSFT, the trial, and us the shareholders. We need to go through this every once in a while to remind ourselves that the Market is tough and unforgiving...even for MSFT. And for MSFT to win the big game, it needs to stay sharp (as we the shareholders must also). But in the end, we shall triumph...until someone comes along with a better team --- WHICH IS NO WHERE IN SIGHT!

Thanks,
Teflon
